SK ID Solutions has been certified under eIDAS 2.0 for a new qualified trust service related to the Management of Remote Electronic Signature Creation Devices. This is an important step for us and our customers, as it strengthens the legal and operational basis for Smart-ID and confirms that our identity service meets the new European requirements for qualified trust services.

The new certification shows how the European trust services landscape is developing under eIDAS 2.0. It enables service providers to work within a clearer framework while establishing greater trust and security behind digital signing among users.

For SK ID Solutions, the certification adds to a strong trust services portfolio and affirms its position among the earlier providers in this area. For customers, it means added confidence in Smart-ID and in the way qualified electronic signatures are managed.

At the moment, only a few EU Member States have a similar service listed in the Trusted List. That makes this an important milestone for SK and a relevant step toward a wider market as the new framework continues to take shape across Europe.
