Please be informed of a security update that is planned for both Mobile-ID and Smart-ID API endpoints. The update has been currently implemented for our demo environments.
We plan to roll out the same change to the production environment endpoints on 2 November 2026.

What is changing?

Only strong, modern cipher suites are now accepted for TLS connections.
Older and weaker cipher suites have been disabled.

The following cipher suites will be supported:

TLS 1.3:
* TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384

TLS 1.2
* TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_GCM_SHA384
* TLS_DHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_GCM_SHA384

Why this matters?

This change strengthens the security of connections to our services.
However, it may affect integrations that rely on older TLS configurations that do not support the cipher suites listed above.

Action required!

Please test your integration against our DEMO environment as soon as possible to confirm compatibility.
If you encounter connection issues, please review your TLS configuration and ensure that it supports at least one of the cipher suites listed above.

We recommend completing your compatibility testing and any required configuration updates before the production rollout.
